Vasiliy Matveevich Kikinev has reared an artist and an architect - they are his son and his daughter.

His philosophy in art is "kindness". His art works are impressionism art.

Vasiliy Kikinev was born on the 23rd of January 1930 in the village Malyshkine, which is in Rostov region of Russia.

In 1954 he graduated from Lugansk State Art College. And in 1980 he became a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists.

Though most of artist's art works are realistic, he doesn't paint only temporal world. Artist created many icons and presented them to churches all over Ukraine.
